Would you like the dream of owning a racehorse to become a reality? KVT are a boutique management service putting together like-minded people in small ownership groups of the finest of equine bloodstock.
KVT is in the enviable position of having horses trained in some of the top yards in the country and has welcomed Ed Walker to the roster for 2020 (see Dutch Art colt below). Ed has been based at the historic Kingsdown Stables in Upper Lambourn since 2016 and has sent out over 300 domestic winners. Kingsdown was responsible for the winner of the 1974 Derby with Snow Knight.
KVT had a fantastic 2019 season with three-year-olds Persian Moon, who ran at most of the major festival meetings and was a memorable fourth at Royal Ascot, and Flashcard who won a valuable handicap at Ascot before being placed in Group 3 company. Both horses were sold to race abroad for considerable profit at the end of the season.
KVT members have tasted success in Group 2, Group 3 and
Listed company and have been placed in Group 1 races. They have
also won some of the biggest handicaps, most recently the Stewards'
Cup at Glorious Goodwood.
Partners acquire a share in each horse and are thus the owners of it. KVT manages the horses and the partnerships on their behalf. Annual accounts are prepared and sent to each partner. The aim is to have fun and to socialise with other like-minded people at an affordable cost; this is not an investment. Some horses are sold at two and most by the end of their three-year-old season so that commitments are not open-ended.
