2018 Filly by Hellvelyn (GB) ex Rann Na Cille (Ire)

A three-year-old filly by Hellvelyn is offered for sale at £3,500 plus VAT.

This attractive individual is a daughter of the winning sprinter Rann Na Cille, who was herself out of the prolific Kayrawan mare Omanah. Included amongst Rann Na Cille's winning siblings was the smart Hong Kong performer Chevie, who won seven races and accumulated over £300,000 in prizemoney.

Omanah was in turn a half-sister to the Listed winner Nasij, whilst the same branch of the family features the Listed-winning and Classic-placed mare Stamp Collecting.

Hellvelyn has built up a fine CV during a distinguished covering career and remains as popular as ever.

This is evidenced by the fact he remains at a joint career-high stud fee, and his best crops of two-year-olds are only now emerging. This is because they were conceived on the back of the stunning success of Mrs Danvers in the 2016 Grp-3 Cornwallis Stakes, Listed St Hugh's Stakes and Weatherbys Super Sprint.

The sire is also responsible for the Grp-3 Dick Poole Stakes heroine and Grp-1 Commonwealth Cup fourth La Rioja, the Listed winner Ardenode and the stakes-placed quartet Bonnie Grey, Hells Babe, Hellofahaste and Mister Trader.
