Sire: Mustajeeb (GB)

Dam Sire: Sakhee (USA)
A quality three-year-old gelding by Mustajeeb is offered for sale at £4,000. He descends from an excellent Darley family featuring the likes of Helmet and Epaulette.
He is out of the Sakhee mare Pink Ivory, who won a mile maiden in the Godolphin Blue on her only racecourse appearance. She has since gone on to produce three winners, including the six-time scorer Best Tamayuz.
Pink Ivory is in turn out of the Grp-3 Park Hill Stakes heroine Anna of Saxony. She therefore counts amongst her numerous winning siblings the Grp-3 winner Anna Palariva (herself dam of three stakes winners, including the Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up Anna Salai), the Listed winner (and later high-class jumper) Aachen and the stakes-performers Ancestor and Anshaam.
Other high-class runners to emerge from this branch of the family include the Grp-1 winning two-year-old National Defense, the US Grade-1 winner Ave and the Grp-1 placed Dubai Gina. A glance at the extended pedigree reveals a plethora of top-class names such as those mentioned in the opening paragraph, and the 1,000 Guineas winner Billesdon Brook.
The covering sire Mustajeeb was a Gp-2 placed two-year-old who went on to land the Grp-3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot over seven-furlongs at three. He then successfully dropped back to sprinting in order to win the Grp-2 Greenlands Stakes at four.
A son of confirmed sire of sires Nayef and out of an Elusive Quality mare, he welcomed his first crop of runners in 2019. Despite a very limited number of representatives, the dual winner Bill Neigh, who ran with credit in stakes company, and the easy Yarmouth maiden winner Intimate Moment signalled that Mustajeeb is a very promising young sire.
