An exciting 2017-foaled son of Gleneagles named Navajo Eagle is offered for sale.
This gelded youngster is out of the Victory Gallop mare Don't Forget Faith, who won a six-furlong Newmarket maiden on her two-year-old debut, before finishing a narrow second in the Grp-3 Sweet Solera Stakes. She was later fifth to the outstanding Zarkava in the Grp-1 Prix Marcel Boussac.
Since retiring to breeding duties Don't Forget Faith has produced a handful of foals, notably the six-furlong winner Tadarrok - who was a 75,000gns Book 2 yearling in 2013.
An exciting addition to the page is Don't Forget Faith's 2016 Kingman gelding Rich And Lucky. This exciting prospect changed hands for an eye watering $570,000 prior to embarking on a career in Hong Kong, where he was a neck second on his third appearance earlier this month and, in January, followed up with an impressive victory.
The quality of this pedigree endures through the generations.
Don't Forget Faith is out of the US Grade-1 winner Contredance, so is a half-sister to the Japanese Listed-placed Hokko Beauty. Another sibling, She's Fine, went on to produce the stakes winner Rhubarb Red and the black-type earning Southey, whilst the Grp-1 placed Argentinian performer Jurabas Tu is a descendant of the same source.
This excellent tail line is complemented by the exciting Gleneagles. An outstanding performer for trainer Aidan O'Brien, he finished first past the post in Grp-1 company on five occasions, including in both the 2,000 Guineas and Irish 2,000 Guineas.
A son of the incomparable Galileo out of the Grp-2 winner You'resothrilling - and therefore a full-brother to the Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Marvellous and the dual Grp-1 winner Happily - his prospects for a successful covering career are virtually unrivalled.
His first-crop graced the track in 2019 and their collective exploits have only enhanced his reputation. His standout performers to date are the Grp-2 July Stakes winner Royal Lytham and the Grp-2 Royal Lodge Stakes victor Royal Dornoch, whilst other exciting prospects include the Grp-2 placed Precious Moments, the Royal Ascot Listed winner Southern Hills and the Grp-3 placed Tabera.
Gleneagles' progeny auctioned for as much as €490,000 during 2019 and his yearling average remains just below 100,000gns. Such figures highlight the outstanding value that this exciting youngster represents. Don't miss out!
