Shares are available in The Ogle Gogle Man, a twice-winning chaser who has recently joined trainer Iain Jardine in Dumfriesshire. Two 25% shares are available for a purchase price of £500 plus £350 pcm thereafter (50% share option also available).
A sound, good-moving and clean-winded horse, he has been sweetened-up following a change of stable and is now ready to run. He looks to be on a very handy mark based on his previous form and seems an ideal sort to run up a sequence in staying chases in the north.
A nine-year-old son of Yeats, The Ogle Gogle Man was a winning Irish pointer prior to commencing his career under rules. He displayed promise in a few outings over hurdles before going chasing in early 2018.
Third from a mark of 113 on chase debut at Huntingdon, he showed remarkable consistency in the months that followed prior to securing a breakthrough success in a three-and-a-quarter mile novices' handicap chase at Fontwell in December 2018.
The Ogle Gogle Man incurred a six pound rise in the weights for that success but it did not stop him following up a few weeks later on his next run, this time in a three-mile handicap chase at Uttoxeter.
Although his form dipped slightly during the remainder of that season, The Ogle Gogle Man demonstrated he was as good as ever during the 2019/20 NH campaign. He finished second in competitive heats at both Haydock and Uttoxeter, as well as third at Stratford shortly before lockdown caused the disruption of racing.
He had two runs for previous connections earlier in the current season - and was some way below his best - but as a consequence he now looks exceptionally well-handicapped on an official chase mark of just 95.
That is fully 10lbs below his last winning mark and it is surely only a matter of time before his shrewd new trainer gets him back to his best and into the winner's enclosure.
The Ogle Gogle Man is a strong stayer, who is versatile with regards to ground conditions and holds his form well throughout the year. He can exploit his lenient-looking mark in the months ahead and will provide his lucky new owners with lots of excitement. Please get in touch for more details.
