Call My Bluff (IRE)

A couple of shares are available in the progressive hat-trick winning gelding Call My Bluff.

Trained by Dominic Ffrench Davis in Lambourn, this good-looking son of Make Believe benefited from an increase in trip on heavy ground to realise his potential and win at Goodwood in August. This was followed by another win over two-miles at Kempton before he completed the hat-trick in decisive fashion at Pontefract over two-miles-and two-furlongs in October.

Described in the Racing Post as 'galloping home strongly', the style of Call My Bluff's impressive Pontefract success strongly suggested that he has more to offer.

He would go on to close his season by finishing an excellent second to the prolific Main Fact, who went on to win a Grade-3 race over hurdles on his next start.

Call My Bluff is now rated 75, having gone up 17lbs since his first win, and will be aimed at races over two-miles and beyond in 2021.

He is an exciting prospect over these marathon trips, with his strong-finishing style suggesting that he will be equal to a step-up in grade and should provide his owners with some great days out at the bigger meetings.
