Greens Racing presents an exciting opportunity to purchase shares in Ardance, an attractive two-year-old colt by the first-season sire Ardad. He is based with Grp-1 winning trainer David Menuisier at Coombelands Racing Stables in Pulborough, West Sussex.
UPDATE: Ardance is continuing to please connections and is expected to make his debut in mid-September!
Greens Racing syndicate members own rather than lease the horse, so will enjoy all associated benefits, and the all-inclusive shares being offered come with no hidden extras!
Born in March 2019, the straightforward and well-made Ardance is out of the Footstepsinthesand mare Sand Dancer.
The dam was very lightly-raced on the track but has gone on to produce two runners including the talented Jilbaab. He was fifth in a warm Newbury maiden on his only appearance as a two-year-old and won over seven-furlongs at Wolverhampton at three.
Sand Dancer hails from a good family and is a half-sister to the three-time winning 89-rated handicapper Captain Courageous. Their unraced dam Annacloy Pearl was a sibling of the Listed-placed sprinter Roker Park, as well as the dams of the Grp-1 Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Samitar, the Royal Ascot-winning two-year-old Nijoom Dubai and the Grp-2 Gimcrack Stakes winner (and Grp-1 placed) Shaweel. The extended pedigree features numerous other pattern performers.
On this occasion Sand Dancer has been matched with the exciting young stallion Ardad, who won the Grp-2 Flying Childers Stakes and Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot (beating Battaash) as a two-year-old. Subsequently retired to Overbury Stud, he has made an extraordinary start with his first crop runners and is among the front runners in the Leading First Season Sire Table.
He has sired well over a dozen individual winners, including the Grp-1 Prix Morny and Grp-2 Norfolk Stakes winner Perfect Power, the Grp-2 Coventry Stakes third Vintage Clarets and the dual winner Tipperary Sunset, who changed hands mid-season for £200,000.
Such extraordinary results have led to an enormous clamour for the sire's progeny at the yearling sales, with his five offerings at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale averaging £47,200, with a top price of £100,000.
There are few stallions with as exciting a profile as Ardad, so don't miss out on one of the last opportunities to take a share in a member of his stunning first crop!
