The recently-launched Share A Winner syndicate, in conjunction with Heather Main Racing, presents a tremendous opportunity to take shares in Agapanther, a GBB registered two-year-old filly by Outstrip. She is in training with Heather at Kingston Common Farm in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
Agapanther is out of Byroness, who won over seven-furlongs as a two-year-old and twice more at up to a mile at three. She has since gone on to produce the winning Nayef filly Medoras Childe, who has also subsequently retired and recently commenced a breeding career.
Byroness is a full-sister to the four-time winner Childesplay, whose three-year-old son Mister Bluebird won recently at Windsor on his seasonal reappearance. Mister Bluebird is also by Outstrip, thus proving the sire's compatibility with the family.
All of the above horses, and several other members of the pedigree, were trained by Heather and many are retained on the farm for breeding purposes. This gives the trainer crucial knowledge of the family, the vast majority of whom are winners.
The covering sire Outstrip was an outstanding two-year-old, who won the Grp-2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster and the Grade-1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita.
Retired to Dalham Hall Stud following his three-year-old campaign (during which he was placed behind Kingman in the Grp-1 St James's Place Stakes), he has since developed a reputation as an excellent young stallion, capable of upgrading his mares despite operating at the economy end of the market.
His first crop, which emerged onto racecourses in 2019, featured the Grp-2 winning, Grp-1 placed and Arc fourth Gold Trip, the US Grade-3 winner Outburst and the Listed National Stakes winner Flippa The Strippa. He continues to go from strength to strength and looks to be a superb match for Byroness.
Agapanther is an attractive filly with exciting pedigree credentials. She is based with a trainer who guarantees first-class individual care for each horse, and whose burgeoning reputation continues to be advanced season after season. Please get in touch for more details.
