2019 Colt by Swiss Spirit (GB) ex Loveatfirstsight (GB)

He is the first produce of the Bertolini mare Loveatfirstsight, who was twice a winner on the AW over seven-furlongs and placed several times.

Loveatfirstsight is in turn one of six winners out of the Listed-placed mare Starbeck. Her siblings include the useful Manofmanytalents (also by Bertolini), who was fourth in the Listed Doncaster Stakes as a two-year-old and now plies his trade in Hong Kong under the name of Chiu Chow Kid.

It is also worth noting the high-class record of Bertolini as a broodmare sire. The sire's daughters are responsible for the outstanding seven-time Japanese Grp/Grade-1 winner Gentildonna, the Grp-2 Duke of Cambridge Stakes heroine Move Swiftly, and the Grp-1 winning miler and exciting sire Amaron, amongst others. On this occasion Loveatfirstsight has been matched with the talented Batsford Stud-based sire Swiss Spirit.

A member of the exceptional family bearing the 'Swiss' prefix that also features the likes of Swiss Lake, Swiss Diva, Swiss Dream and Swiss Franc, he was a Grp-3 winning sprinter during a highly successful racing career. His first crop runners emerged in 2017 and he has quickly established himself as a reliable source of tough, speedy and genuine performers. He continues to regularly produce smart winners such as Motagally, who won twice during the flat season just gone to reach a mark of 103, and Mountain Peak, an eight-time winner including from marks of up to 95.

Terms

£2,000 per 1/4 share plus £400 per month from 1st Jan whilst in pre-training rising to £500 per month once in full training with a Licensed Trainer, or

£1,000 per 1/8 share plus £200 per month from 1st Jan rising to £250 per month as above.

Weatherbys racing expenses will be additional when the time comes.
