The four-year-old Falco gelding Gag De Re is offered for sale. Price on application.
A big, beautiful and sound individual, he stands 170cm, is a very good jumper and an easy ride. He has already shown promise in bumpers on the French AQPS circuit, notably when taking a creditable fourth at Moulins in May.
Gag De Re also boasts exceptional pedigree credentials. He is out of the unraced Maresca Sorrento mare Tagada, who is a full-sister to the 2014 Grand National hero Pineau De Re.
Another of Tagada's siblings has gone on to produce Elf De Re, who was runner-up in the Grade-2 Premier Kelso Novices' Hurdle earlier this year, whilst the extended family features several top-class French chasers. These include the Grand Steeple-chase de Paris winner Otage du Perche, the Grade-2 winning and Grand Steeple-chase de Paris runner-up Lord Carmont, as well as the highly talented Graded and Cheltenham Festival-placed Evan Williams-trained chaser King's Odyssey.
This fine pedigree will not be let down by the influence of the sire Falco, who continues to build his reputation as a very capable jumps sire. In recent seasons he has been represented by the Grade-1 Triumph Hurdle winner Peace And Co, the triple Listed-winning hurdler/chaser Beau Gosse and the Listed winning chaser Kyalco.
Previously a Grp-1 producing sire on the flat, Falco's biggest and best NH crops are only just starting to emerge, so there is a strong suspicion that his profile will rise significantly over the next few years.
Such details bode well for the future prospects of Gag De Re.
This is a super opportunity to buy a strong and good-looking four-year-old with some encouraging form in the book and a winning pedigree. Interest in his sale is sure to be high; please get in touch for more information.
