Sire: Galileo Gold (GB)
Dam: Singora Lady (IRE)
Dam Sire: Intikhab
A strong and well-made two-year-old filly from the first crop of
2,000 Guineas hero Galileo Gold is offered for
The sire was a high-class Grp-2 winning and Grp-1 placed two-year-old who went on to record a brilliant success in the 2016 2,000 Guineas. He also triumphed in the Grp-1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, before commencing stallion duties at Tally Ho Stud in 2018.
His first runners are therefore expected this year, and given that he is out of a Galileo half-sister to the Grp-1 winning sprinter Goldream, his chances of developing into a leading stallion look strong.
Recent events in the auction ring have also hinted at his potential. His progeny have fetched figures including 82,000gns, 80,000gns, £80,000 and 75,000gns during the recent jousts at the major yearling sales, with some of the shrewdest figures in the industry signing for his offspring.
The dam of this filly is also an extremely well-credentialled individual.
Singora Lady won over seven-furlongs as a two-year-old, and later added two more successes to her CV at up to a mile-and-a-quarter as a four-year-old. A daughter of Intikhab, the noted damsire of Found, Danon Premium and Gordon Lord Byron, she has subsequently produced two winners as a broodmare, including the dual Listed winner Lucky Serena.
Singora Lady is in turn a full-sister to the remarkable
Kempes, who won four-times on the flat and was
rated 104, prior to developing into a dual Grade-1 winning chaser.
She is also a half-sister to the redoubtable seven-furlong
specialist Smarty Socks, who won 13 times and was
rated as high as 102.
This tremendous family seems sure to benefit from the influence of the exciting Galileo Gold, and this attractive filly has the brightest of futures in front of her. Please get in touch for more details.
