2019 Filly by Fountain of Youth (Ire) ex Phantom Spirit (GB)

A racey yearling filly by Fountain of Youth is offered for sale.

She is registered for the lucrative GBB Bonus scheme, which means owners and breeders of winning horses can win up to £20,000 per eligible race.

Foaled in April 2019, this attractive individual is out of the Invincible Spirit mare Phantom Sprit. She is therefore a half-sister to the precocious two-year-old Daphinia, who won on her racecourse debut prior to finishing second in the Listed Marygate Stakes in 2018.

Phantom Spirit is a sibling of six winners including the Listed-placed Glisten and the dam of the Grp-3 Somerville Tattersall Stakes third Nezar. The third dam Escaline won the Prix de Diane prior to producing five black-type earners as a broodmare, plus over half a dozen stakes performers amongst her further descendants.

The covering sire Fountain of Youth is a son of the Champion Sprinter Oasis Dream and 1,000 Guineas heroine Attraction. He was trained by Aidan O'Brien to win his maiden by four lengths as a two-year-old and the Grp-3 Sapphire Stakes at three.

He is now developing a promising stallion career at Bearstone Stud and stood the 2020 covering season at a fee of £3,500.  His first crop emerged in 2019 and featured the Grp-3 Horris Hill Stakes fourth Gravity Force, and such promising results have seen his stock sell for up to £55,000 in the auction ring.

This super filly is a sibling of a very fast black-type earning two-year-old and there is a real depth of quality to her pedigree. She is offered for auction with no reserve and is sure to command plenty of attention.
