2019 Colt by El Kabeir (USA) x Dancewithastranger (Ire)

A lovely and straightforward yearling colt by the promising Yeomanstown Stud based stallion El Kabeir is offered for sale at £5,000. He is being sold to accommodate other stock.

A wonderful mover, who is clean winded and with no vices, he is out of the Fast Company mare Dancewithastranger. She was a seven-time winner in Norway and was up to holding her own in Stakes company.

Although yet to be represented by a runner, Dancewithastranger nonetheless hails from a very smart family which indicates a bright future as a broodmare. She is a half-sister to the Grp-3 winning sprinters Snazzy Jazzy and Ross Castle, as well as the unbeaten Ten Year Ticket, winner of the Listed Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial this year, and the Grp-3 placed Admiral Rous.

Their dam Bulrushes was a sibling of the high-class Tariq, winner of the Grp-2 Lennox Stakes and Grp-3 Jersey Stakes, whilst the further family features several other high-class sprinting types.

The influence of El Kabeir seems sure to benefit this classy pedigree.

He was a Grade-2 winner and Grade-1 placed during his racing career in the US, and was the best two-year-old son of the magnificent Scat Daddy to race in America. Other sons of the late great sire currently at stud include Justify, Caravaggio and No Nay Never.

El Kabeir's first crop foals impressed in the auction ring last year, selling for up to £65,000, whilst he stood the 2020 covering season at a fee of €8,000. His first runners are awaited with great anticipation in 2021.
