An April-foaled two-year-old filly by Kodi Bear out of the winning Invincible Spirit mare Starfly is offered for sale. Share options are also available.
A stunning individual to look at and a very good mover, she is trained by up and coming young trainer Paul George.
Starfly was trained by Jeremy Noseda and raced in the famous Highclere silks. She was fifth in an Ascot maiden on her debut before scoring in determined fashion at Windsor over five-furlongs on her second start. Her victims on that occasion included the subsequent Listed winner and Grp-3 placed Miss Lahar. Starfly only raced once more and was retired before racing as a three-year-old, but has since gone on to produce six foals.
Her potential as a high-class broodmare was underlined when her 2016 Showcasing son Venture auctioned for a jaw-dropping €230,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale in 2017, whilst another son Harry Speed is a dual winner at up to seven-furlongs who achieved a peak rating of 78.

Meanwhile, out in Dubai, Starfly's 2017 Bated Breath colt Dubai Avenue was a good second in a five-furlong maiden at Jebel Ali the same month. He will surely be winning races in short order.
As well as an appealing racing and breeding record in her own right, Starfly is notably well-related. She is a sibling of the French Listed winner Mytographie, who has herself gone on to produce the Listed-winner Mutin. Two further black-type winners can be found under the second dam Mythologie, whilst the next generation of the family features over a dozen stakes performers.
Starfly has been matched on this occasion with the very exciting Kodi Bear, who is expected to be a leading freshman sire this year.
A high-class two-year-old who broke his duck in the Listed Winkfield Stakes prior to finishing second in the Grp-1 Dewhurst Stakes, Kodi Bear missed the early part of his three-year-old campaign through injury but returned to the track better than ever. He captured the Listed Midsummer Stakes at Windsor on his return, then finished fourth in the Grp-1 Prix Jean Prat, won the Grp-3 Sovereign Stakes by four and a half lengths and then took the Grp-2 Celebration Stakes by three and a quarter lengths.
Such efforts ensured that he retired to Rathbarry Stud as the highest rated son of Kodiac to commence stallion duties and he has received the patronage of a large number of exciting mares. His stock auctioned for as much as £90,000 at the recent Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale and there is great excitement ahead of their emergence on racecourses next season.
This filly is extremely well-related and has the looks and physical make-up to suggest she can develop into a smart and racy performer.
