The three-year-old Gleneagles filly Queen Of Clubs is available for sale. She ran a handful of times as a two and three-year-old and now looks like an excellent breeding prospect.
Queen Of Clubs is out of the Dansili mare Fondly, who won a seven-furlong maiden as a three-year-old for Richard Hannon, when running in the colours of the Coolmore triumvirate of Smith, Tabor and Magnier.
Fondly is a half-sister to the outstanding Champion miler Canford Cliffs, winner of the Grp-1 Sussex Stakes, Grp-1 Queen Anne Stakes, Grp-1 Irish 2,000 Guineas, Grp-1 St James's Palace Stakes and Grp-1 Lockinge Stakes during a stellar racing career. He has since gone on to prove himself a sire of note. Another of Fondly's siblings is the Grp-3 placed two-year-old Toronto, whilst the extended family also includes the prolific pattern winner and sire Triple Threat.
Queen Of Clubs is a member of the first crop of the brilliant 2,000 Guineas winner Gleneagles, who stood the 2020 breeding season at Coolmore Stud for an advertised fee of €35,000. He is already responsible for the Grp-2 winning juveniles Royal Dornoch and Royal Lytham, and he looks sure to take high rank in the years to come. The son of Galileo is a tremendous addition to the pedigree and Queen Of Clubs provides breeders with an exciting early access to one of his daughters for breeding duties.
The attractive and beautifully-bred Queen Of Clubs has a long breeding career in front of her and rates a lovely prospect; please get in touch for more details.
Note: she has had a soft palate operation
