Bred by Classic-winning owner-breeders Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, the four-year-old Elenora Delight is a daughter of Dansili and won over a mile as well as being placed three times in ten starts.
She is a tall, attractive filly with no vices and, with three stakes-winning siblings, has excellent breeding prospects.
Elenora Delight's half-brother Knight To Behold has been a stalwart of Harry Dunlop's stable, winning the Lingfield Derby Trial and G2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano, while her half-sister Beauty O'Gwaun won the G3 Blue Wind Stakes for John Oxx and full-brother Cosmo Meadow was a Grade 3 winner in Japan. Their dam Missy O'Gwaun (King's Best) was also a winner and hails from the family of the Derby-placed Let The Lion Roar and St Leger winner Millenary.
Further back, this is also a family which has served the successful Ballymacoll Stud well over the years and includes the Breeders' Cup Turf and St Leger winner Conduit and Australian Group 1 winner Glass Harmonium.
Dansili, like his sire Danehill before him, is also emerging as a very successful broodmare sire and is already responsible in this sphere for this season's Group winners Channel, Glorious Journey, West End Girl, Lope Y Fernandez, Mikki Charm and Tropbeau, as well as the Group/Grade 1 winners Capla Temptress, Uni, Expert Eye, Ice Breeze, Nezwaah, Astaire and Chicquita.
