We are absolutely delighted to have purchased the stunningly flashy mare IVY AVENUE.
A 3 time winner already, she was purchased last October to go hurdling but did not take to jumps. Her flat form in Ireland before being purchased for the National Hunt was fantastic. A versatile type, she won on heavy, soft and good ground. She also has form on the all weather.
Ivy Avenue has won and been placed from 1m to 1m5f and is such a consistent mare. Last season she ran 11 times, winning and being placed on another 6 occasions.
Ivy Avenue is below her last flat winning mark and with the switch back to the flat, we feel not only do we have a well handicapped horse already. She is in training with Mick Appleby who we believe is capable of improving this tough, consistent mare even further.
