Shares are available in the exciting yearling filly Princess Nessa. A daughter of the promising young sire Prince Gibraltar out of a Zamindar mare, she will enter training in France this autumn. She will benefit from the superb French prize money levels and lucrative premiums that are on offer when commencing her racing career in 2020.
The mare Lafria was unraced, but she is nicely-related. Her dam Alyzea was a Listed winner over five-furlongs as a two-year-old as well as finishing Grp-3 placed, whilst her half-sister Lykea was Listed-placed and has since gone on to produce a winner of her own.
The further family is teeming with black-type winners, including the likes of Grp-1 Irish Champion Stakes and Grp-1 Prix du Jockey Club winner and sire The Grey Gatsby, the Grp-1 Prix de la Foret winner and sire Septieme Ciel, the Grade-1 Nearctic Stakes hero Regally Ready and the Grade-1 winner and sire Riviera. It is also worth noting the excellent record of Zamindar in the broodmare sire division - his successes include Zarak, New Bay and Kingman.
The sire Prince Gibraltar was a very consistent performer over three seasons, gaining his first top-level victory as a two-year-old and his second at four years in the mile and a half Grosser Preis von Baden.
One of the highest-rated sons of the confirmed stallion-maker Rock of Gibraltar to go to stud, and a sibling of a pair of black-type performers from the family of the high-class two-year-old Illuminate, he was retired to Haras de Montaigu for the 2016 breeding season and his first crop will race later this year. This impressive chestnut will surely pass on vital winning characteristics to his progeny and it is exciting to contemplate what his stock will achieve on the racecourse.
Princess Nessa has inherited impressive physical traits, and is the product of a proven, classy mare and a stallion with a good deal of potential. It is rare for such a choicely-bred youngster to be offered up for syndication - don't let the opportunity slip your grasp!
