From a wonderful family, this two-year-old bay filly has been pleasing her trainer Amy Murphy at home, and has been doing everything asked of her while showing great potential too.
Her sire, Makfi, was a high-class miler and winner of the 2010 2,000 Guineas Stakes. So far, his progeny look progressive types who improve with time. They include dual Gr1-winner Make Believe, and the Andreas Wohler-trained Noor Al Hawa. The latter ran away with the Qatar Derby back in December.
This filly's dam, Cursory, was unraced but has produced a winner from just individuals who have made it to the racecourse. That winner, Summer, has won three races between the age of two and three. Half Glance, this filly's grand dam, was an exceptional race mare and heroine of the Gr3 May Hill Stakes.
Strengthening and growing all the time, this filly is likely to make the racecourse in the autumn. Bred to be a late maturer, she is likely to come into her own as a three-year-old.
