Lets Be Lucky Racing are delighted to offer shares in the six-year-old gelding Jabbaar, a four-time winner at up to a mile and a half. He is trained by Ebor-winning trainer Iain Jardine from his Dumfries and Galloway base.
Lets Be Lucky Racing is a unique family-run syndicate, which offers members a personal, hands on experience. Owners receive weekly email updates on the progress of their horses, the opportunity to visit the stables regularly and the chance to share in the thrill of a day at the races. With a proven track record thanks to the exploits of multiple winners like Newstead Abbey and Play Nicely and having been to Royal Ascot and many other major race meetings, you can be sure that you won't go far wrong with LBL!
A son of Medicean bred by the Cheveley Park Stud, Jabbaar is out of the Grp-1 Matron Stakes heroine Echelon, so counts amongst his siblings the dual Grp-1 winning miler Integral. Unraced at two, he quickly made up for lost time as a three-year-old, winning a Beverley maiden on his third start.
Purchased by Lets Be Lucky Racing ahead of his four-year-old season, Jabbaar performed consistently throughout the 2017 campaign, highlighting it by winning a mile and a half Catterick handicap from a rating of 72, shortly after joining Iain Jardine's stable. The horse was to find further improvement last year, collecting victories at Southwell and Chester, placing a further 11 times (from just 14 starts in total) and reaching a peak rating of 90 to confirm himself a very useful handicapper.
Jabbaar not only hails from a quality family, but one that does well with time. Couple that with the fact he is a good-looking and scopey individual, and it is evident that the best could be yet to come. A promising seasonal return at Kempton demonstrated that all of Jabhaar's ability remains intact, so surely it is just a matter of time before this classy performer adds to his tally.
He has already accumulated over £50,000 in win and place prize money, handles a range of conditions underfoot and is incredibly consistent. He will run regularly throughout the year and take syndicate members to many marquee venues. A thrilling season awaits!
