St James's Park (IRE)

The very well-bred St James's Park is being sold at an extremely attractive price to dissolve a partnership. 

St James's Park is a very good-looking five-year-old gelded son of the top-class sire Invincible Spirit. He only made his racecourse debut last summer and demonstrated lots of promise on his first couple of outings in maidens. 

He made his debut for new connections early in the New Year and it signalled a return to form, as he finished a close-up fifth in a Kempton handicap over a mile. He then ran another great race to finish a close-up third of 14 over the same course.

His following three runs were disappointing but he had excuses on each occasion and recently ran a splendid race when fifth of eight at Lingfield, beaten just over three lengths.

On a rating of 47, he will surely find a handicap to suit him now he is back to something like his best.

St James's Park is out of the mare Razika who was a useful performer in her racing days in France. At stud she has produced numerous winners including the Listed-placed Exactement and the officially 108-rated Parfait.

For such a small outlay, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with a horse who is tailor-made for a small syndicate.
