Date of Birth: 03 May 2017
Sire: Fast Company
Dam: Sudden Impact
Dam Sire: Modigliani
This is a fantastic foal by the superb sire Fast Company out of a smart race-mare.
The dam Sudden Impact was a smart two-year-old who demonstrated her talent by winning the prestigious and valuable Tattersalls Ireland Sale Stakes, earning north of £100,000 in the process. She was to win four-times during her career and achieved a highest official rating of 97.
She is out of Suddenly, who was won as a juvenile on the track, and has given eight winners at stud.
Sudden Impact is a daughter of the stallion Modigliani, who was a Grp-3 winner when trained by Aidan O'Brien. He boasts an exceptional pedigree as a half-brother to 2000 Guineas, Juddmonte International and Champion Stakes winner Rodrigo de Triano. At stud Modigliani has sired the Grp-3 winning two-year-old Magritte and the 107-rated Clon Brulee.
This filly foal is a daughter of the sire Fast Company. He ran just three times, but still showed exceptional talent. He won the Grp-3 Acomb Stakes at York and was a narrow second to the subsequent Derby winner New Approach in the Grp-1 Dewhurst Stakes. He is beautifully related on either side, as a son of sire of sires Danehill Dancer out of a Zafonic mare. On the distaff side he is closely related to multiple good runners, including the Nassau Stakes winner and Epsom and Irish Oaks placed Hawajiss.
Since retiring to stud he has wasted no time in demonstrating his ability to successfully pass on his talent. From just a handful of crops of racing age, he has already given the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Jet Setting, the Grp-2 winning and Classic placed Devonshire and the Royal Ascot winning juvenile Baitha Alga.
