The broodmare Sister Guru and her filly foal by Pearl Secret are offered for sale in a superb multi-horse deal. The sale is boosted by the fact that the mare has been scanned in foal to Swiss Spirit.
Sister Guru was a six-furlong Lingfield winner during an 11-race Flat career. The daughter of Ishiguru is a full-sister to the dual winner and Grp-3 placed Peahen, from the extended family of Stakes winners Desert Lady and Alleluja Angel.
Her filly foal is by the Grp-2 Temple Stakes winner and Grp-1 placed Pearl Secret. Blessed with outstanding good looks, he has been standing at Bucklands Farm and Studs since the start of the 2017 season and his first foals on the ground this year have been met with widespread acclaim.
His early offspring are showing lots of his sire Compton Place, a stallion that went from basement covering fees to become a Grp-1 producing stallion that enjoyed a near twenty-year career.
The additional bonus of Sister Guru scanning in foal to Swiss Spirit must not be underestimated. Another superb physical specimen, he is a member of that excellent sprinting family cultivated by the two-time Listed-winning matriarch Swiss Lake, also including Stakes winners Swiss Diva, Swiss Dream and the Grp-2 placed Swiss Franc.
His first crop is now three, and his list of smart performers includes the 102-rated Helvetian and the dual winner Kick On Kick On, whilst he has already produced more than half a dozen multiple winners.
The mark of his quality and promise is emphasised by the 200,000gns paid for one of his sons at the recent Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up by the Shadwell Estate Company of Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum. That youngster, incidentally, is out of a mare that won a sprint at Lingfield during a 10-race career on track, a record remarkably similar to that of Sister Guru.
This is a rare multi-horse deal that offers tremendous value for money.
Priced for quick sale because breeder is reducing stock due to his imminent retirement.
